Job Description

  • Collect Environmental Monitoring (EM) and utility samples at client facilities using sampling protocols and associated documents
  • Weekend, holiday, overtime work, and travel required as needed to meet client schedules
  • Perform analyses for pharmaceutical microbiology (routine and non-routine) as needed
  • Review and evaluate raw data for acceptability
  • Provide support in the execution of experiments involving molecular biology studies and Cell Line Maintenance
  • Maintain equipment
  • Pack and ship samples
  • Buffer Preparation
  • Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department

Supervise others in performing client's service requirements

  • Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
  • Foster motivation and morale
  • Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
  • Prepare and review job plans, conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growth
  • Coach and develop individuals and team to maximize performance
  • Laboratory maintenance (e.g. cleaning and sanitizing of laboratory)
  • Equipment maintenance and tracking
  • Author/create investigations/excursions
  • Prepare Evaluation Reports and participate in Program Review
  • Help in creation of SOPs/TOOLs, EMPQ, and Training
  • GMP experience
  • Demonstrates strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration
  • Proactively plans and multitasks to maximize productivity
  • Ensure that the quality policy program is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the
  • organization; identify, prevent, or correct any departures from the quality system
  • Develop and implement operational improvements
  • Supervise others in performing client's service requirements
  • Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in microbiology or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

  • The position is full-time, M- F 8 am to 5 pm
  • May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
