Position Title: Pharmacovigilance Specialist I (Remote Work)


Location: Orlando, FL 32819

Anticipated Start Date: 6/17

Expected Duration: 5 months

Job Type: Contract

Timings: 10:30am-7:00pmEST, OT is offered not required

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr on W2

Job Description:

"Position Purpose: Monitor and report any adverse events or side effects of pharmaceutical products on the market. Report adverse reactions and product complaints received from healthcare professionals and consumers.

* Data input and manipulation using Script Med and Microsoft word, Excel, and PDF
* Performance expectation is completion of 33 reports per 8-hour day.
* Online onboarding and basic skills training.

What previous job titles or background work well in this role?
* Any with basic medical background.
* Previous Pharmacovigilance work.
* Walgreens specialty experience - they use the ScriptMed platform

Required Skills/Experience:
Basic computer knowledge and computer keyboarding skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent attention to detail

Preferred Skills/ Experience:
Pharmacy Tech or similar

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred. 1+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare related work experience. Medical assistance or project coordination experience preferred. Experience or basic knowledge of adverse events preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)." "Responsible for collecting, monitoring, processing, and distributing adverse event reports and information queries
Prepare and submit adverse event cases to pharma clients or FDA
Reviews safety and medical information for the assigned products, including safety components of protocols and studies for assigned drugs
Prepares and mails time sensitive documentation necessary for the processing of adverse event cases"
