Process Chemical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Process Chemical Engineer to support the design and implementation of complex manufacturing and facility infrastructure projects in Boise, ID. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge industrial facilities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on process chemical, mechanical, and utility systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with process/mechanical facilities engineering, including process piping, chemical distribution, gas systems, water/wastewater systems, pumps, tanks, and related infrastructure
- 3+ years of engineering design/project delivery experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Must be local to or willing to relocate to Boise, ID
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Semiconductor industry experience
- AutoCAD proficiency
- EIT or PE license
- Field experience supporting construction and installation projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and support process chemical and mechanical systems for advanced manufacturing facilities
- Develop construction documents, equipment layouts, and utility requirements
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Support installation, commissioning, and construction activities
- Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and system design reviews
