What you'll do

  • The Product Development Chemist is responsible for driving optimization initiatives across the APC HM product portfolio, with a focus on cost savings, supply security, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • This role serves as a key technical resource, collaborating closely with Product Line Management (PLM), Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality Control, and Manufacturing teams to identify and implement formulation, raw material, and process improvements that support business objectives.
  • The successful candidate will lead qualification efforts for cost-saving opportunities, ensure continuity of supply through alternative raw material and supplier evaluations, and provide technical support to manufacturing facilities to improve operational performance and product quality.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or a related field of education
  • Proficiency in laboratory testing, data analysis, and technical reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and drive results across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of chemical formulations, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.

The salary rangefor this role is $70,000.00 and $80,000.00. This range represents the good-faith minimumand maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at thetime of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligiblefor incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. TheCompany also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actualcompensation will be based on factors such as the candidate's skills,experience, education, training, and work location.
