Professional Environmental Engineer

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain licensure within a specified timeframe.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations.
  • Technical knowledge of water systems, including the design, operation, and maintenance of water supply, treatment, and distribution systems, as well as wastewater systems.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and site evaluations to identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Design and implement engineering solutions for waste management, air and water pollution control, and resource conservation.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and prepare necessary documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to integrate environmental considerations into business operations.
  • Monitor environmental performance metrics and develop continuous improvement plans to enhance sustainability efforts.
