The Opportunity

We're looking for a Qualitative Market Research Consultant to join our growing team.

This is a unique opportunity for a market research professional who enjoys uncovering the "why" behind the "what" and translating insights into meaningful business impact.

You'll work across a broad range of healthcare topics, from consumer health to prescription medicines, medical technologies and complex disease areas. You'll help clients solve business challenges by combining qualitative and quantitative insights with real-world healthcare data and evidence.

Whether you're moderating interviews, supporting research design, synthetising insights and contributing to strategic recommendations, or translating data into compelling stories, you'll play a key role in helping clients make confident decisions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of bespoke healthcare and consumer health research projects across qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methodologies
  • Conduct and support in-depth interviews, online communities, workshops, and focus groups with healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, consumers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Explore attitudes, beliefs, behaviours, unmet needs, treatment journeys, and decision-making processes across a broad range of healthcare categories
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative findings to uncover actionable insights and strategic implications that drive business decisions
  • Manage project timelines, fieldwork partners, stakeholder communications, and quality processes
  • Contribute to proposal development and research approaches that address strategic client challenges
  • Support the delivery of real-world evidence and insights projects that combine primary research with healthcare data and evidence
  • Develop impactful presentations, reports, and storylines for internal and client audiences
  • Present findings internally and progressively take on client-facing presentation opportunities
  • Develop expertise across healthcare consulting, market research, behavioural science, and real-world evidence
  • Collaborate with senior consultants, associate principals and subject matter experts on high-profile healthcare projects
  • Contribute to thought leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You're naturally curious, enjoy solving complex problems, and are passionate about understanding human behaviour in healthcare.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Behavioural Science, Economics, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years' experience in a primary market research agency
  • Strong qualitative research experience, including conducting or moderating interviews and focus groups
  • Experience contributing to quantitative and mixed-methodology studies, including data analysis, interpretation, and synthesis of findings
  • Experience translating data into compelling insights and strategic recommendations
  • Excellent analytical thinking, communication and storytelling skills
  • Excellent project management and organisational capabilities
  • A collaborative mindset with a desire to learn, grow, and take ownership
  • Exposure to healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotech, medtech, healthcare data, or real-world evidence is highly regarded
  • Valid working rights in Australia
