About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485 standards. You will support our precision plastics machining operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and improve QMS processes to maintain compliance with ISO standards.
• Lead or support internal, customer, and third-party audits; manage corrective actions.
• Perform and review inspections (FAI, in-process, final product) and quality assessments.
• Maintain documentation for quality procedures, work instructions, and control plans.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement solutions.
• Train team members on inspection techniques and QMS standards.
• Manage CAPA process, including root cause analysis and timely closure.
• Support MRB and RMA processes for nonconformance and returned products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive quality improvements and meet customer expectations.
• Participate in supplier quality initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Travel up to 25% for multi-site support, customer visits, or supplier assessments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality-related field.
• 2-4 years of progressive quality experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 standards.
• Familiarity with GD&T and measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages).
• Experience with CMMs and basic programming (PC-DMIS, Calypso) preferred.
• Strong skills in root cause analysis, SPC, FMEA, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with QMS software a plus.
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or ability to obtain within one year.
• Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $75,600-$94,500. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
