RESEARCH TECHNOLOGIST - Biomedical R&D
- Support scientific and engineering innovation by translating experimental designs into accurate, repeatable laboratory work.
- Ensure that research activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in alignment with project goals, regulatory expectations, and quality standards.
- Maintain equipment, materials, and lab environments in a state of compliance and readiness.
- Perform routine and advanced laboratory experiments following established protocols (SOPs, study plans).
- Support biomanufacturing upstream and downstream processes (e.g., cell culture, bioreactors, purification, formulation).
- Operate and maintain analytical and process equipment (e.g., bioreactors, chromatography systems, TFF, spectrophotometers, flow cytometers).
- Follow laboratory safety procedures, biosafety requirements, and chemical hygiene plans. Work under GLP, cGMP, ISO 13485, or research QMS as required.
- Maintain cleanroom or controlled environment practices where applicable.
- Support scientists and engineers in process development, scale-up, and technology transfer activities.
- Support pilot-scale manufacturing or engineering runs.
- Requires an Associates or a Bachelors degree in Applied Science & Technology or Health Sciences Laboratory Technology.
- Those with a Bachelors degree require at least 5 years of experience in health science laboratory.
- Those with an Associates degree require 25 years of related experience.
- 5 years: Skilled in conducting a wide range of biomedical related tests across hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and immunology.
- 5 years: Operating and maintaining advanced laboratory equipment, implementing quality control measures, and managing inventory to ensure uninterrupted lab operations.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
