Job Summary/Basic Functions

This role is responsible for supporting and executing clinical research activities, including patient screening, enrollment, data collection, and study-related procedures in compliance with protocols and regulatory standards. The position involves direct patient interaction, accurate documentation, and coordination of follow-up care while ensuring data integrity and billing compliance. Responsibilities also include handling and processing laboratory specimens and maintaining strict adherence to research and safety guidelines. The individual collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and participates in training and study start-up activities. Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced research environment are essential.

Required Field of Study: Nursing

Certifications or Licenses Required: Valid license as a Registered Nurse in Louisiana; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
