Job SummaryThe Senior Associate, External Scientific Collaboration plays an important role in enabling the effectiveness and therapeutic focus of the External Scientific Collaboration team. This position is responsible for developing/improving tools and resources that facilitate efficient and effective external engagement processes, outputs and reporting. They manage the coordination and end-to-end processes that support medical engagement activities, including submission and tracking of materials through internal compliance and legal review, coordination of congress-related activities, and development and maintenance of key information sources. As a strategic partner within the team, they work with cross-functional leaders to optimize how our systems connect to drive efficiencies and identify mechanisms to accelerate team deliverables. A core responsibility of this role is to ensure compliant and efficient execution of congress activities and external engagements. Subject matter expertise in compliance processes, data systems and project and change management principles is necessary. They must work independently to manage the operations, coordination, and documentation requirements associated with medical engagement activities. The role develops and supports new initiatives and projects, ensures timely and high-quality execution of team deliverables, and contributes to continuous improvement of internal workflows and ways of working. Through close collaboration with Scientific Engagement Leads, Congress Strategy, Cooperative Group and Patient Advocacy teams and other cross-functional partners, this role ensures that engagement activities are executed efficiently, compliantly, and consistently, while providing continuity, institutional knowledge, and day-to-day coordination essential to the department's success. Apply knowledge and expertise of compliance and procedural requirements to manage the submission, tracking, and follow-through of engagement-related materials through internal systems to ensure timely, compliant execution of planned external engagement activities. Leverage expertise in systems management tools to drive continuous improvement of internal processes, strategic analysis, and improve ways of working that enhance efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of scientific engagement activities. Provide governance over the execution of external engagements, including contracts and payments, strengthening compliance, reducing risk, and proactively partnering with senior cross-functional leaders to address and resolve escalated issues. Develop systems and resources that build transparency across the organization for medical engagement logistics, including meeting execution, congress-related activities, and collection and reporting and analysis of engagement feedback and outcomes. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred

Salary Range:
USD$87,760.00 - USD$131,640.00
