Senior General Accountant

Principal Accountabilities:
• Support month end process and reconciliations within deadlines and instructions.
• Ensure that accounting records are thoroughly maintained in preparation for independent audits.
• Maintain adequate and current documentation of the systems of internal control.
• Ensure that all processes and decisions are in line with IQVIA SOPs and local legal requirements.
• Dealing with external audit and internal Audit.
• Drive Financial preparation and discuss with Tax and audit team till closure of statutory reporting.
• Handling monthly VAT return and quarterly WHT return.
• Act as local single point of contact for assigned entity.

Minimum Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge Required:
• Master's degree or equivalent and relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Prior experience of working on ERP system (SAP) in managing day to day Accounting.
• Must be IT literate, with experience of financial reporting or accounting packages
• MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must be flexible and an effective team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Works well under pressure.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. .
