Responsibilities
- Support global medical congress strategy across oncology portfolio, including planning, execution, and insights generation for EU and international congress activities.
- Manage pre-, peri-, and post-congress activities, including communications, scheduling, meeting debriefs, and insights gathering for strategic dissemination.
- Oversee planning timelines, vendor coordination, and budget adherence to meet all deadlines and deliverables.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with commercial and R&D stakeholders to align on meeting priorities.
- Coordinate thought leader engagement activities at conferences across the EU, ensuring clear objectives and timely communication.
- Assist in competitive intelligence processes through communication of timelines, vendor management, and insights dissemination.
- Lead the planning and execution of scientific booth/tabletop content for local/regional EU congresses to enhance engagement and visibility.
- Train and mentor team members on new technologies and scientific research aspects.
Requirements
- Scientific or medical degree (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science) required.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry within a matrix structure and Medical Affairs roles.
- Prior experience in congress planning is preferred.
- Strong ability to build effective cross-functional relationships and organizational skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex scientific information clearly.
- Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguous business challenges.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to evolving needs and priorities.
- Work schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Weekly: 40 hours.
- Onsite requirement: approximately 60% (3 days/week).
- Candidate must pass standard pre-employment screenings, including background checks, education verification, SSN trace, and other relevant screening requirements.
