Job Description
As a senior wireless engineer, you will be accountable for the end-to-end experience for Next Generation Wireless & IoT, including driving the strategic direction of the product, managing the product, its features, and solutions and platforms through their lifecycle. This role requires an individual with both leadership experience and subject matter expertise with Cisco Wireless Infrastructure, wireless standards, design, and protocols. The candidate must interface globally and have deep experience designing, developing, and supporting global wireless network solutions. In addition, the incumbent requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education Minimum Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems or related area
Required Experience and Skills:
- 10+ years in wireless IT Engineering/Operations
- Possesses expert knowledge of wireless Network Infrastructure and Network Design
- Ability to design complex wireless solution for manufacturing and laboratories
- Deep knowledge of Cisco Wireless Wi-Fi 5, 6, MESH, WLC and AP
- Deep knowledge of Identity Service Engine
- Deep knowledge of Wireless Protocols
- Deep knowledge of DNA Wireless
- Ability to perform Surveys using Ekahau software
- Demonstrated experience engineering and supporting network solutions
- Ability to acquire new skills in a diverse environment
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills; able to establish good working relationships globally and collaborate with networks of employees of all levels; able to foster cooperation in others; creative problem-solver.

- Expert knowledge of Cisco/Palo Alto Firewalls
- Expert knowledge of F5 Load Balancers
- Deep knowledge of DMZ infrastructures

- Deep knowledge of Cisco routers/switches

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5,2023 our U.S. Hybrid work model will be as follows: 1. Three total days on site per week: Tuesday and Wednesday - plus one additional day of choice based on what works best for organizations and/or teams. 2. Fridays will formally be a remote-working day unless business critical tasks require onsite presence.
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$130,960.00 - $206,200.00
