Sr Business Systems Analyst

About the Role

We're looking for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to lead the successful delivery of data-driven projects in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. What You'll Do

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams (onshore/offshore) to deliver client projects on time and within scope.
• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and contribute to business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement technology-based solutions for client challenges.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of client needs and propose cost-effective strategies.
• Perform data analysis to support solution design and decision-making.
• Recommend process improvements and alternative approaches.
• Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and follow-up.
• Stay current with industry trends in data engineering, cloud platforms, and healthcare technology.
• Build subject matter expertise in pharmaceutical and life sciences domains.
• Manage project workstreams, assign tasks, and ensure timely execution.

Technical Focus Areas

• Database Design & Data Modeling: Apply normalization and dimensional modeling to support large-scale data systems.
• ETL & Data Integration: Build robust data pipelines using modern tools and frameworks.
• SQL & Query Optimization: Write and optimize complex queries for performance.
• BI Tools: Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.
• Cloud Data Warehousing: Design and manage data solutions in Azure and Databricks.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, analysts, and developers to align on goals and deliverables.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5-8 years of experience in consulting or service delivery, ideally in healthcare or life sciences.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services (Data Factory, SQL Database, Databricks).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and big data technologies.
• Intermediate English proficiency
