General Summary:
- Responsible for design, demonstration, and supervision of patients according to their individually developed exercise prescription.
- Monitors blood pressure, pulse, workload, and exercise technique for safety when patients are exercising.
- Documents exercise response, adverse reactions, or clinical problems and modifies exercise prescription according to department standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters in Exercise Physiology
- Minimum of 5 years as an exercise physiologist in cardiac rehabilitation.
- Experience with outcome data management, certification preparation and enrollment of new patients program.
Salary Range: Minimum 25.98/hour - Maximum 42.85/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
