Sr Investigator Payments Asst

Job Summary
The role is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of investigator and site payments within clinical trials. This includes accurate payment calculations, timely processing, purchase order creation, and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional service by resolving payment-related queries promptly, ensuring high satisfaction among external partners.
• Share expertise and facilitate knowledge transfer on all aspects of payment operations with business partners.
• Escalate issues appropriately and in a timely manner based on business impact.
• Support global, regional, and country-level initiatives to improve payment processes and drive operational efficiencies.
• Ensure payment requests are submitted accurately and on schedule, as per the Clinical Trial Agreement.
• Monitor and align payment metrics with established performance goals.
• Conduct interim and final payment reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
• Own and execute end-to-end payment coordination for assigned clinical studies.
• Maintain audit readiness and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Manage communication tools effectively, including email distribution, responsiveness, escalation handling, and prioritization.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Language Proficiency:
o Mandatory: Fluency in one of the following languages - Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.
o Mandatory: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• 1-3 years of professional experience; prior exposure to the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical payment processing, contracts, finance, and budgeting systems is a plus.
• Strong ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and organizational levels.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general PC applications.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Experience working in a virtual or remote environment.
